Client Reporting Implementation Asset Investment Management Regulatory CIM IMA

Our client is one of the world's leading and most respected Asset and investment Management organisations. An opportunity has arisen for client services focused reporting analyst to join them on an initial 9-month interim basis with the possibility for extension or the offer of permanent work thereafter.

THE ROLE:

Reporting and Distribution Services (RDS) is accountable for all aspects of our clients' reporting experience, including the provision of market leading client reporting and effective client query management.

RDS Implementation Manager provides the key entry point to the Reporting function for new clients mandates and existing client report changes. The successful candidate is required to be conversant with the range of product structures, asset classes, financial instruments and investment strategies operated within a leading asset management firm. They will possess a sound understanding of the regulatory environment and industry specific matters. The role holder will be focused on efficient implementation, harnessing technology to deliver automation & integration. The role demands the ability to manage multiple priority items within a high-pressure delivery framework, whilst maintaining a focus on balancing business risk management with service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting and Distribution Implementation:

Oversee and manage the implementation queue via CIM of new client mandate reports and existing client report changes in partnership with impacted stakeholder team

Provide input and direction to new client report requests and IMA reporting schedules

Act as an inward and outward facing implementation partner', demonstrating technical ability, data and product knowledge, and an understanding and awareness of the client's decision making process and investment objectives.

Work globally with the wider RDSI team to design and implement, business processes and procedures to support a risk-controlled and compliant environment

Be a first point of escalation for complex, non-core report requests maintaining a positive client experience throughout

Control the flow of information in the handover of new reports or report changes to production teams

Focus on the professional and personal development of team members, implementing tailored training and development plans to create RDS Implementation specialists within the function (focusing on data, product and system expertise)

Ensure that all team members adhere to business processes and procedures with a view to minimising risk and reducing error, thus optimising team governance and controls

Seek to identify opportunities for further process efficiency and improvement (eg through automation and system integration), evolving the team control environment, service delivery capability and client service experience.

Hold regular team meetings as a forum for communication and knowledge transfer across the team; seek to maintain and increase staff motivation, engagement and morale

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Keen interest in investment products with 3-5+ years client service within financial services, particularly investment management or data visualization

Outstanding client service skills, maturity and judgment in dealing directly with clientele

Must be conversant with a variety of product structures, asset classes, financial instruments and investment strategies.

Highly tuned analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and think outside the box

Sharp control/risk mitigation mentality with high attention to detail and ability to know when to escalate issues

Service provider oversight and/or regulatory reporting experience a plus
